VIA 03: Wildlife @ Edgefield Secondary

Hello! We are a VIA team from Edgefield Secondary and we have partnered with Animal Concerns Research & Education Society (ACRES). ACRES is a non-profit organization which aims to help wildlife in Singapore through these 3 focus areas:

  1. Promoting a cruelty-free living lifestyle (consist of food, products, fashion, tourism and pets),
  2. Singapore Wildlife Etiquette
  3. Tackling Illegal Wildlife Trade.

For this VIA Project, our team aims to raise both awareness and funds for promoting a cruelty-free living lifestyle. In everyday life,  we might actually be supporting animal cruelty, just that we are clueless of it.

This is because most of this cruelty happens behind the closed doors of slaughterhouses, factories, research institutions etc. This is exactly the reason why we do not know that animals are abused for various purposes, be it for food, clothing, testing of chemicals, sports, or entertainment. We need to put an end to this.

As such, we hope to receive your support in raising funds by purchasing our products in our e-Shop and spreading awareness for this meaningful cause!
